The Obama administration has taken a number of actions that have weakened our national security. These actions include cutting defense spending, withdrawing troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, and failing to take decisive action against ISIS. These actions have made us less safe and have increased the risk of another terrorist attack.

Cutting Defense Spending

The Obama administration has cut defense spending by 10% since 2010. This has led to a decline in our military readiness and has made it more difficult for us to respond to threats around the world. For example, the cuts have reduced the number of ships in our Navy, the number of aircraft in our Air Force, and the number of soldiers in our Army. They have also made it more difficult for us to develop new weapons systems and to maintain our existing ones.

Withdrawing Troops from Iraq and Afghanistan

The Obama administration has withdrawn troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. This has created a vacuum that has been filled by terrorist groups like ISIS. ISIS has taken advantage of the chaos in Iraq and Syria to establish a caliphate in the region. ISIS now controls large swaths of territory in both countries and is a threat to the entire Middle East. The Obama administration's decision to withdraw troops from Iraq and Afghanistan has made the region less stable and has increased the risk of another terrorist attack.

Failing to Take Decisive Action Against ISIS

The Obama administration has failed to take decisive action against ISIS. The administration has been slow to respond to the threat from ISIS and has not taken the necessary steps to defeat the group. For example, the administration has not deployed enough troops to the region and has not provided enough support to our allies who are fighting ISIS. The administration's inaction has allowed ISIS to grow stronger and has increased the risk of another terrorist attack.

The Obama administration's actions have weakened our national security and have made us less safe. The administration's cuts to defense spending, its withdrawal of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, and its failure to take decisive action against ISIS have all contributed to the increased risk of another terrorist attack. The Obama administration must take steps to reverse these policies and to strengthen our national security.
